A New Westminster, B.C., man is speaking retired aft his 87-year-old mother was attacked successful wide daylight.

Video captured from a neighbour’s surveillance camera shows Sukhi Sahdre’s mother taking her regular walk, erstwhile a conveyance pulls up successful beforehand of her.

She turns away, but the video shows a man getting retired earlier grabbing her necklace and bracelets.

She tries to conflict him off, but the man knocks her to the crushed and takes her jewelry.

Sahdre says his mother’s manus was trim during the incident and required stitches.

She managed to make her measurement location and that’s erstwhile neighbours called for help.

“Emotionally, she’s benignant of shocked and she keeps bringing up what happened,” Sahdre told BERITAJA.

“She keeps talking about the jewelry that went missing because it was fixed to her by her mom arsenic a pass-me-down, generational.

“She conscionable keeps saying I should’ve stayed location aliases I should’ve done this, but I could opportunity I should’ve stayed home, too. But yeah, it is what it is.”

Sahdre said his mother has been doing the aforesaid locomotion for 25 years and said constabulary are investigating the incident.

BERITAJA reached retired to New Westminster police, but did not perceive backmost by deadline.
