Billionaire Elon Musk and Prince Andrew have been named in newly released files from Congressional Democrats, which are connected to the late convicted sex offender and financier, Jeffrey Epstein.

The documents, provided to the House Oversight Committee by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein, suggest that Musk was invited to Epstein's private island in December 2014.

In a separate entry, a flight manifest from May 2000 lists Prince Andrew as a passenger on a flight from New Jersey to Florida.

Both Musk and Prince Andrew have been contacted for comments on the matter. Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied any involvement in wrongdoing, while Musk has stated in the past that although Epstein invited him to visit the island, he turned down the offer.

These files are part of the third release from the Epstein Estate and reportedly include phone logs, flight manifests, financial documents, and Epstein's personal schedule.

In addition to Musk and Prince Andrew, the files also mention notable figures such as tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon, a former advisor to Donald Trump.

One document, dated December 6, 2014, includes a note that reads: "Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)"

A separate flight manifest lists Prince Andrew as traveling with Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell on May 12, 2000, from Teterboro, New Jersey, to West Palm Beach, Florida. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 for conspiring with Epstein in the trafficking of underage girls for sex.

On May 11, 2000, Buckingham Palace stated that Prince Andrew had flown to New York to attend a reception for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. A later entry shows that Andrew returned to the UK on May 15.

Other entries in the files include a planned lunch with Peter Thiel in November 2017 and a scheduled breakfast with Steve Bannon on February 17, 2019. There are also references to tentative plans for a breakfast with Microsoft founder Bill Gates in December 2014. Gates has previously described his association with Epstein as a "mistake" in a 2022 interview with the BBC.

It is important to note that the files do not suggest that those named were aware of Epstein's criminal activities. Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

In 2008, Epstein reached a plea agreement with Florida prosecutors after a 14-year-old girl accused him of molesting her at his Palm Beach residence. He was arrested again in July 2019 on new sex trafficking charges.

Sara Guerrero, a spokesperson for the House Oversight Democrats, called on Attorney General Pam Bondi to release additional Epstein-related documents, stating, "It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthy men in the world. Every new document brings us closer to justice for the survivors and victims."

Republicans on the committee have criticized the Democrats for prioritizing politics over the victims, asserting they will soon release the full set of documents.
